The electric fuel pump is a device that continuously sucks the fuel from the fuel tank and provides the fuel system with the specified pressure and flow. Based on the function of the electric fuel pump, it can be known that the performance of the electric fuel pump will directly affect the working performance of the engine.
The electric fuel pump is the "heart" of the fuel supply system of the electronic fuel injection engine. There are two arrangements of electric fuel pumps in the fuel supply system, one is the externally mounted type, that is, the fuel pump is connected in series in the fuel pipeline outside the fuel tank; the other is the built-in type, that is, the fuel pump is installed in the fuel tank and immersed in gasoline. In this way, the fuel pump is easy to dissipate heat, has low working noise and long service life, so it is widely used.
